Logan and Monica's first day of school

Logan and Monica's first day of school was today (Aug 21st). Logan is in first grade and Monica is in preschool.

We set Logan's alarm clock for 7:00AM. It only buzzed about 3 times and he was up and at 'em. He must have been VERY excited about starting school since he was dressed, hair combed, face washed, potty break all in about 15 minutes and all by himself! Monica was...well...less enthusiastic.

When I asked Logan how school was today he said "looooong". He is not used to all day school. When Elaine was dropping Monica off at preschool, Monica told her mommy, "I stay her and you go home now mommy!". She sat down at her desk and started to color with...what else but...a pink crayon, her favorite color.

Monica is giving her teacher a high-five before leaving class.
